The Technical Center for the Wood and Furniture Industry, in collaboration with the National Federation of Wood and Furniture (FNBA) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, is organizing the Euro-Mediterranean WOOD INNOV DESIGN competition, with a different theme for each edition.
The Technical Center launched this competition with the objective of:
- Rewarding excellence in furniture design and encouraging young designers to enrich the furniture sector.
- Contributing to the improvement of the quality and value of Tunisian wood and furniture products by promoting design as a key differentiation and competitive factor
- Integrating new graduates from art and design schools into professional life by giving them the opportunity to test their creativity within an industrial environment.
- Supporting the State’s efforts in the employment of young graduates, particularly graduates of art and design schools.
- Create a dynamic and rewarding competitive environment in design schools that encourages the emergence of talent.
- Forging closer ties between design schools and the wood and furniture industries.
The competition is open to students from engineering, design, graphic arts, and architecture schools, as well as students from specialized training centers, whether public or private, national or international. Participation may be individual or collective, provided that the group designates a project leader who will be our sole point of contact.
