In order to evaluate and improve the characteristics of your products, THE TECHNICAL CENTER FOR WOOD AND FURNITURE INDUSTRIES carries out analyses and tests using high-performance and adapted equipment.
The Technical Center for Wood and Furniture Industries is equipped with:
- 3 testing laboratories accredited by TUNAC according to ISO/IEC 17025 V2017:
– LEMS – Mechanical Testing Laboratory for Furniture and Seats
– LEPF – Finishing Performance Testing Laboratory
– LAMA – Materials Testing Laboratory
- LAMEN – Joinery Testing Laboratory
- Metrology unit
- More than 60 testing machines and 200 measuring and control instruments
Tests carried out in The Technical Center for the Wood and Furniture Industry laboratories enable the conformity of furniture, joinery, and materials to be verified in relation to national, European, and international standards as part of technical control for import or export, certification, or new product development.
THE TECHNICAL CENTER FOR WOOD AND FURNITURE INDUSTRIES laboratories enable numerous tests to be carried out on products of various sizes and compositions in the following areas:
- Furniture: School furniture, office furniture, home furniture, foam and mattresses, childcare products.
- Construction: joinery (wood and wood derivatives, PVC and aluminum), adhesives, composite materials, plastics, panels, wood, finishing products.
Metrology Unit (MU)
The Metrology Unit ensures the management and monitoring of testing equipment, measuring instruments and reference standards.
