Within the framework of strengthening the principles of transparency and accountability, improving the management of public services, enhancing public participation in the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, and strengthening trust between bodies subject to the law, natural and legal persons, and civil society organizations, the Tunisian Constitution, in its Article 32, guarantees the right of access to information as a constitutional right ensured by the State. Furthermore, Organic Law No. 2016-22 dated March 24, 2016 relating to the right of access to information specifies implementation measures and related procedures.
